Experimentelle Untersuchungen zum Korrosions- und Auflösungsverhalten von künstlichen Mineralfasern in wäßriger Lösung

Abstract

dc:description

In the construction industry the use of synthetical mineral fibrous insulating material (MMMF) has become a widespread indispensable material. Beside a continous adaption of the physical properties of MMMF to the specific applications recently the characterics of glass corrosion are subject to a special developement in terms of chemical and biological stability according to the discussions about the risks to health of asbestos and its fibrous substitutes. In this paper the main models of dissolution and corrosion processes of silicate phases in aqueous solutions are described. The discussion of common dissolution kinetic models of silicat fibrous phases in aqueous solutions is focussed. With the use of combined methods based on SEM-, XRD, BET as well as EDX and XRF analyses, results from static and dynamic dissolution experiences are comppared with results of in-vito and in-vivo experiments, A specific material depending ranking of dissolution rate for different chemical fibrous materials is formulated.
