Untersuchungsergebnisse nach osteosynthetischer Versorgung von Humeruskopffrakturen : ein Vergleich zwischen LPHP und Kleeblatt
Abstract
dc:descriptionThe purpose of this retrospective study was to compare the clinical outcome after proximal humeral fractures after beeing surgical managed with the LPHP® or the cloverleaf-plate. A small group of patients with endoprothetic treated fractures was added for a comparison of the clinical outcome. In the Years from 2000 to 2004 51 patients with displaced proximal humeral fractures were studied and conducted a controlled trial selected randomly as our study sample. The clinical assessment was made using the Constant-Murley-Scores, the DASH-Scores and the reALOS. The Neer classification was used. 25 Patients were operative treated with Angle Stable Locking-Proximal-Humerus-Plate (LPHP®), 16 Patients conventionel cloverlea-plate and 10 Patient were surgical managed by a prothesis. The two ostheosynthetic treated groups (LPHP® & Cloverleaf-plate) had a good clinical outcome without a significant difference (p = 0,349). The endoprothtic group had a bad clinical result. The comparison between ostheosynthetic und prothetic treated patients shows a significant difference in the clinical outcome (p < 0,01). A difference in post operative re-achievd livingquality, using the DASH-Score and the reALOS, was only found in the comparison between the ostheosnthetic and arthroplastic group (p < 0,01).
