Automatisierte Generierung von Arbeitsabläufen für den Service an Produktionssystemen
Abstract
dc:descriptionWithin the scope of this work a method for the automated generation of workflows for the service at production systems has been developed and implemented. The objective of this method is to increase the adaptability of service documents to the concrete machine of the individual customer. Moreover, a higher efficiency in the service support should be achieved by an improved integration of development and documentation processes. The developed method is based on a planning procedure, which assembles re-usable activity sequences into a complete workflow (taskflow) on the basis of information stored in a machine or domain model respectively. The activity sequences are augmented with information from the domain model, in order to examine on the one hand the applicability of a sequence in a given work situation and on the other hand to specify the effects of applying the sequence. With the help of search methods the individual sequences are built up according to the service activity and the augmented information. The assembled sequences are then made available to the service staff. The developed method represents an effective approach for making structured operational sequences and rigid service documents more flexible. Furthermore, the employment of a domain model allows for a high degree of automation for the structuring and provision of the information necessary for the planning procedure. The implementation of the domain model in the actual product development process is a decisive factor for the success of the method of the automated generation. Changes, which are made in the development, can be transferred faster and more consistently into the appropriate service documents by using the domain model. The search methods used when planning can be improved considerably by the implementation of the integrated feedback mechanism. The heuristic, which is generated thereby and which can also be used for setting up a process model, also contributes to a decrease of the engineering effort for the domain model. This is ascribable to the possibility of transferring application-specific assessments to comparable application areas. The planning procedure however exhibits certain limits in respect to the complexity of the work situations to be represented. In particular for complicated topological connections the effort for the model definition is in most cases not justifiable. This can only partially be compensated by the integrated feedback mechanism, which supplements missing connections with information from a process model generated concurrently. The presented method of the automated generation of operational sequences now forms a basis for the adaptability of service documents and beyond that for an increase in efficiency of the service processes of the manufacturer and operator of a production system.
