Inhibition der peritonealen Tumorzelladhäsion durch Phospholipide bei Ratten
Abstract
dc:descriptionSpreeding of tumor cells from the primary tumor spontaneously or via manipulation is an important factor in the cause of peritoneal carcinomatosis. Prevention of tumorcell adhesion is therefore a prevention of peritoneal carcinomatosis. In several studies of our group could be demonstrated that phospholipids inhibit the adhesion of tumorcells in vivo as well as in vitro. In this study constant phospholipid concentrations combined with different tumorcell concentrations have been examined concerning their likelyhood to create peritoneal carcinomatosis. 100 BD IX rats have been operated. The experiment consisted of 5 different tumorcell groups with in each 20 animals. Each of the five groups again had 10 animals that were treated with phospholipids and 10 animals that were treated with NaCl solution. Within the laparotomy following concentrations were applicated to the peritoneum: 10.000, 50.000, 100.000, 250.000 and 500.000 tumor cells. The applicated volume was constant in each group. The animals have been put to death after 30 days und examined for the tumorexpanse, tumorvolume and tumorlocalisation. The results showed that the groups treated with Phospholipids had significantly less tumorexpanse, tumorvolume and tumorspred compared to the controllgroups with the NaCl solution. Sideeffects as inflammation, allergic reaction, woundhealingdisorders and early deaths have not been noticed.
