A Conventional Theory of Mechanism-Based Strain Gradient Plasticity
CMSG is also used to study the indentation size effect (ISE) observed in micro and nanoindentation experiments. Different hardness trends with different indenter shapes obtained from CMSG agree very well with the experimental measurement.
