Modular forms for the orthogonal group O(2,5)
… can, in two cases, determine generators of the graded ring of orthogonal modular forms. It turns out that in both cases the graded ring of modular forms of even weight with respect to the trivial character is a polynomial ring in six (algebraically independent) generators.

Algebraic finite domination
… free R-modules where R is a strongly Zn-graded ring.

K-stability of Log Fano Cone Singularities
… computing 𝛿 has a finitely generated associated graded ring. This shows a log Fano cone is K-polystable if and only if it is uniformly K-stable. Together with earlier works, this implies the Yau-Tian-Donaldson Conjecture for Fano cone.

Ideals and Maximal Commutative Subrings of Graded Rings
… between ideals and (maximal commutative) subrings of graded rings. The motivation for this investigation originates in the theory of C*-crossed product algebras associated to topological dynamical systems, where connections between intersection properties of ideals and maximal commutativity …

Auslander-Reiten Sequences over Gorenstein Rings of Dimension One
<p>Let R be a complete local Gorenstein ring of dimension one, with maximal ideal m. We show that if M is a maximal Cohen-Macaulay R-module which begins an Auslander-Reiten sequence, then this sequence is produced by an endomorphism of m, which we call a Frobenius element. We observe that Frobenius …

Adams Operations and the Dennis Trace Map
… and the Hochschild homology of A, HH*(A), are graded rings, and the Dennis trace map D : K *(A) → HH*( A) is a graded ring map. Since Hochschild homology is a more user friendly theory than the algebraic K-theory, one would like to use the Dennis trace map to study the algebraic K-theory …

Koszul Homology and Resolutions over Commutative Rings
… homology algebra of a commutative local (or graded) ring R tends to reflect important information about the ring R and its properties. We examine Koszul homology and the relationship between Koszul homology and minimal free resolutions in various settings. We provide tools which allow one to …
