    어깨 통증을 갖고 있는 뇌졸중 환자에서 이학적 검사와 초음파 검사를 이용하여 어깨 관절주위 질환을 진단한 후 견봉하 점액낭 내 스테로이드 주사(트리암시놀론 40mg)를 시행한 결과 통증 및 환자가 느끼는 장애 정도에 호전이 있었으며 어깨관절의 능동적 운동범위, 특히 전방굴곡과 외회전의 운동범위에 호전이 있었으며 특별한 부작용 발생 없이 주사 후 8주까지도 효과가 지속되었다. 이러한 결과는 어깨 통증에 대한 스테로이드 주사 치료 시 치료 효과, 경과 및 지속시간을 추정하는 데에 구체적인 지침을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.
