  1. Hemodynamic Changes after Endotracheal Intubation with Colloid Loading in Patients with Cerebral Aneurysm

  2. Hemodynamic Changes after Endotracheal Iintubation with a Lightwand or a Laryngoscope in Patients with Cerebral Aneurysm

… changes during intubation may cause a rupture of cerebral aneurysm and increase the risk of subarachnoid hemorrhage. It is reported that tracheal intubation with lightwand results in less hemodynamic stimulation compared with direct laryngoscopy. We therefore conducted this study to assess that …

  3. The Development of a Reduced Order Model for Prediction of Haemodynamic and Biochemical Changes in a Computational Cerebral Aneurysm Thrombosis Model

A cerebral aneurysm is a pathological, localized, and irreversible cerebral arterial vessel wall dilation. Cerebral aneurysms pose a risk of subarachnoid haemorrhage if they rupture. A ruptured cerebral aneurysm could lead to mortality or morbidity. It is therefore important for clinicians to be …

  4. Computational model of thrombosis in cerebral aneurysms for predicting clotting outcomes in flow diverter treated patient-derived geometries validated with novel PIV-based ln vitro clotting flow experiment

… number of computational models of thrombosis in cerebral aneurysms designed with consideration towards clinical use and research. Many thrombosis models include complicated clotting mechanisms, which can be computationally expensive, and present a challenge to comprehensively validate in vitro …

  6. Cognitive outcome of aneurysmal subarachnoid haemorrhage after clipping or coiling : a comparative post intervention study in a hospital population

Subarachnoid haemorrhage secondary to ruptured cerebral aneurysm and clipping are associated with substantial morbidity and mortality. Despite favourable neurological outcomes, many patients report persistent cognitive and emotional deficits post intervention. To compare cognitive and quality of …

  7. Fabrication and characterization of a magnetic bacterial nanocellulose for neurovascular reconstruction of cerebral aneurysms

A cerebral aneurysm is a condition where a defect protrudes out the arterial wall, and which is formed due among other reasons to abnormal high hemodynamic stresses that contribute to deterioration and dilation of the blood vessel. A desirable treatment of cerebral aneurysms is the complete cut-off …

  8. Vergleich verschiedener endovaskulärer Platinspiral-Embolisationsverfahren zur Therapie zerebraler Aneurysmen : tierexperimentelle Untersuchungen

… subarachnoid hemorrhage is the rupture of a cerebral aneurysm situated in the Circulus arteriosus Willisii. Treatment options of ruptured cerebral aneurysms include surgical clipping and endovascular therapies. Endovascular methods, especially coiling became an important alternative to the …
