… 병력 청취, 신체 계측을 시행하고 ELISA법으로 혈청 MMP-2, MMP-9, TIMP-1 농도를 측정하였다. 결과: 혈청 MMP-2, MMP-9, TIMP-1 농도를 측정한 결과 MMP-2와 MMP-9의 농도는 각 군에서 차이를 보이지 않았으며 TIMP-1은 단백뇨가 많이 배설되는 군 일수록 통계학적으로 유의하게 혈청 농도가 증가되는 결과를 나타내었다. 결론: 당뇨병성 신증의 특징인 세포 외 기질의 분해 감소 및 침착 증가가 일어나는 과정에서 TIMP-1이 영향을 미칠 것으로 보인다. "
