Monofiletismo de Erythrinidae (Teleostei, Characiformes): discussão das sinapomorfias e outros caracteres diagnósticos
… Erythrinidae were surveyed, making a total of 17 synapomorphy for this group. Four characters sates previously hypothetized as ambiguous were corroborated, and two more were proposed. This work concludes with a revised diagnosis of the Erythrinidae family.

The Acacia Berlandieri Species Group: Armed New World Members of Subgenus Aculeiferum (Fabaceae) With Distributions Restricted North of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, Mexico
… without hybrids. The presence of a unique synapomorphy (petiolar glands that are sessile or slightly raised), weakly supported monophyly of the A. berlandieri group. In the strict consensus tree there was a trichotomy of a single species, a ten species clade and a four species clade. …

Estudo da evolução dos padrões de comportamento reprodutivo de Cynolebiatini (Cyprinodontiformes - Rivulidae)
… are considered synapomorphic fr C ynolebias. A synapomorphy of Nmatolebias is the absence of fight among the fmales. Some autapomorphies and undefned apomorphies were also observed.

Phylogenetic inference and macro-evolutionary patterns in Ficinia Schrad. (Cyperaceae)
… within the genus as well. Perennial habit is a synapomorphy for Ficinia and distinguishes it from the generally annual sistergenus Isolepis. Though a young genus when compared with Isolepis, Ficinia has radiated in the CFR quite rapidly following the -shift toward Mediterranean climate in this …

Molecular phylogenetics of the Metazoan clade Lophotrochozoa
… of the posterior class gene Post2, which is a synapomorphy for the Lophotrochozoa. The identification of a Post2 ortholog provides evidence of a close relationship between the Bryozoa and other lophotrochozoan phyla.

Descrição osteológica do crânio de um novo dinossauro Prosauropoda do Neotriássico do sul do Brasil
… suggests that the UFSM 11069 shares one synapomorphy with Plateosauridae (Coloradisaurus, Sellosaurus, Plateosaurus and Lufengosaurus) which is having a jaw articulation position approxirnately 25% of the length of the tooth row below. It also seems to be more dose related to …

Aspectos da biologia, morfologia e ontogenia da larva de Coryphaeschna perrensi (McLachlan, 1887) (Insecta, Odonata, Aeshnidae), com algumas considerações filogenéticas
… ConJPhay-schna stricto sensu with basis on one synapomorphy (two black spots included in the third dark ring ot' the femora). Dyrived states of other characters (movable hooks armed dorsally with a longitudinal row of more than 5 setae; with the molar crest without or with only one tooth m …

Systematic studies of the South African Campanulaceae sensu stricto with and emphasis on generic delimitations
… the circumscription of genera. An uncontradicted synapomorphy was found for the Rhigiophyllum-Siphocodon clade. The fruit character was found to be taxonomically unreliable at the generic level. The phylogeny of the South African clade was further used to focus on the closely related genera, …

Hyper-Plastic Structural Evolution Of The PEX Domain - A Model Of Evolutionary Exaptation And Neofunctionalization At The Molecular Level
… (the JEN-14 epitope) represents a functional synapomorphy at the molecular level. Secondly, that there is substantial evidence for horizontal gene transfer of PEX domain proteins into specific Fungi. Additionally, there are no proteins containing a PEX domain in Kingdom Archaea. Lastly, it …

Phylogenetic Relationships and Character Evolution of the Neotropical Butterfly Genus Hamadryas (Nymphalidae: Biblidinae)

The butterflies in the genus Hamadryas are popular and noticeable representatives of the Neotropical Lepidoptera fauna. After a thorough taxonomic revision, 20 species were acknowledged within the genus, however no hypothesis of their phylogenetic relationship was proposed. The present …
