  1. Photosynthesis Inhibition in the Arabidopsis Thaliana Photorespiration Mutants

The inhibition of photosynthesis occurring in the Arabidopsis photorespiration mutants during illumination under atmospheres which promote photorespiration is predominantly due to declining leaf RuBP concentrations resulting from the impairment of carbon recycling to the Calvin cycle.

  2. An Investigation of Plant Hypersensitive Response and Photosynthesis Inhibition on a Genomic and Physiological Scale

… that occurs during the HR is a reduction in photosynthesis. The work presented here is an investigation of the possible rote of photosynthesis inhibition in the HR in soybean and involved: (1) surveying global gene expression of plants treated with photosystem II (PSII) inhibiting herbicides, …

  3. Exploring Novel Adjuvants and Herbicide Synergies: Pyridate and Ethoxylated Lecithin for Improved Control of Turfgrass Weeds

Maintaining healthy, weed-free lawns, golf courses, and sports fields is tougher than ever due to weeds that resist common herbicides, unpredictable weather, and stricter environmental rules. This dissertation explores two promising tools to tackle these challenges: pyridate, a herbicide used in …
