Habitat Characterization and Development of Search Criteria for the Rare Sandhills Lily, Lilium pyrophilum.
The habitat of the rare Sandhills lily, Lilium pyrophilum was studied by comparing 30 plots containing the lily and 30 plots lacking the lily. Field studies measured soil and vegetation within the plots. Results were used to develop search criteria for this Federal Species of Concern. A wetland …
