THE PURPOSE OF THIS WORK IS TO DEMONSTRATE THROUGH EXPERIMENTS, THE DIFFUSION OF IRON IONS EMERGING FROM STEEL SPECIMENS THROUGH CORROSION PREVENTING COATINGS. A SOLUTION OF SODIUM CHLORIDE IN WATER WAS USED AS CORROSIVE ENVIRONMENT.
