Data about shell and body morphology, geographical distribuition, of the terrestrial, gastropod Thaumastus (Thaumastus) magnificus (Grateloup, 1839). It is concluded that shell and body morphology characterize the species distinguishing it from Thaumastus (T.) taunaisii (Férussac, 1822).
