  1. Liver stiffness measurement for the diagnosis of hepatic fibrosis in patients with chronic viral hepatitis

  2. The study for Cause of Cases with Absence of Long Process of the Incus

  3. Effect of Anti-fibrotic Drug (Pirfenidone) on TGF-β Signaling Pathway in Ocular Fibrotic Disorders

Purpose: Transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β) plays a key role in transforming retinal pigment epithelial (RPE) cells into mesenchymal fibroblastic cells, which are implicated in fibrotic disorders of the retina. Herein, the effect of pirfenidone, a novel anti-fibrotic agent, on TGF-β1-mediated …

  4. Protective Effects of Yuzu and Its Component against Cardiovascular Disease

Left ventricular (LV) remodeling, which includes ventricular dilatation and increased interstitial fibrosis after myocardial infarction (MI), is the critical process underlying the progression to heart failure (HF). Therefore, a novel approach for preventing LV remodeling after MI is highly …
