초파리 생체시계에서 CLOCK의 PERIOD 결합 도메인의 역할
생체시계의 작동 기전은 Transcriptional/Translational Feeldback Loop (TTFL)이다. 초파리에서는 전사인자인 CLOCK (dCLK)과 CYCLE (CYC)가 결합하여 period (per)와 timeless (tim)의 발현을 촉진하고, PER와 TIM 단백질은 결합하여 CLK/CYC의 활성을 억제함으로써 자신의 발현을 저해하며 하는 되먹임 고리가 TTFL의 핵심 고리를 이룬다. PER/TIM 이합체에서 PER가 CLK/CYC의 활성을 억제하는 역할을 하는데 어떤 생화학적 기전을 통하여 …
