dc:description.abstractThis research project will attempt to trace the political and economic struggles of the Indian sugar cane farmers in the South Coast of KwaZuluNatal, with special reference to the Sezela area. An attempt would also be made, by examining present trends in the agricultural sector. of what the future holds for the South African Indian sugarcane farmer.
