Abstract
dc:description.abstractObjective: We sought to investigate differences in myocardial contraction fraction (MCF) by glucose metabolism status and determine whether reduced MCF is predictive of incident heart failure (HF) in the Multi-Ethnic study of Atherosclerosis, a cohort study of 6814 adults aged 45-84 without prior cardiovascular (CV) disease.
