Epidemiology of Type 1 Diabetes: Month and Season of Birth. Implications for Etiology.
Abstract
dc:description.abstract<underline>Aims/hypothesis:</underline> The aim of this study was to investigate whether proportion of type 1 diabetic births differed by month and season. We hypothesized that more births occur during the spring and summer months in all populations, except in low-prevalence populations.
