Attitudes towards the establishment of a local casino in three Victorian communities
Abstract
dc:description.abstractIt is the aim of this thesis to identify existing gambling trends prior to the establishment of a local casino, and to then assess the consequential effects upon the community. The three communities which comprise the sample population for this study are Keilor, Kew and Geelong. Each of the aforementioned had proposed a casino development for their respective community, and were selected on the basis of their geographic and demographic differences.
