The role of psychological sense of community in the life adjustment of 'coloured' South African immigrants
Abstract
dc:description.abstractThe aim of this thesis was to investigate how psychological sense of community (PSC) related to a group that had no choice in group membership. In the first stage of the study the PSC model was used to build a profile of a politically constructed group. The second stage of this project investigated the extent to which a PSC developed in South Africa has been transferred to Australia.
