dc:description.abstractThe increase in chicken production over the period 1910-1945 in the United States has compared favorably with the increase in production of livestock which compete with it for the farmers time and feed as well as tor a place on the table of the consumer. Turkey production has increased 252 per cent in the United States over the period 1929-1945.
