Abstract
dc:description.abstractThis thesis deals with the relationships between covering properties and properties of compatible quasi-uniformities of a topological space. The covering properties considered in this work are orthocompactness, metacompactness and paracompactness; some generalizations of orthocompactness are also defined and studied.
