Abstract
dc:description.abstractI propose to create a building whose formal architectural elements; floor, wall, column, and stair, all transform to provide for the needs of the user. The structure will exist as not just a support for an enclosure, but a system where the furniture, storage, and other systems are integrated parts of the building itself. This is the central idea that I will use to create a form language that can be applied to a building whose parts serve all of the functions of the building. If the building itself changes to accommodate the needs of the creator, then the building would become an integral tool in the creative process.
