Abstract
dc:description.abstractThe purpose of the present study was to investigate the clothing needs and the selection and buying practices of women attending the Virginia Polytechnic Institute. Subjects for the study included 40 Virginia Polytechnic Institute women selected at random from the freshman, sophomore, junior and senior classes and from rural and urban areas. With personal explanation from the writer each girl filled out the schedule, “Factors Associated with Clothing Selection and Purchase by College Girls.”
