In this work the coatings of carbon nanotubes were prepared by filtering the dilute aqueous suspensions through the polycarbonate membrane filter into alkaline media. Prepared carbon nanotubes coatings were modified with graphene oxide using the same filtration technique. Properties of prepared coatings were analyzed using various techniques. Electrical properties were examined measuring the electrical resistance and using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. Moreover, coatings were tested using a contact angle measurement method to determine the total surface energy and its components. Morphology of coatings was analysed by AFM and SEM. Besides, Raman spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy mapping was used to characterize the coatings. Electrochemical scanning microscopy was applied for the characterization of interaction between coatings and enzyme glucose oxidase having aim to apply these coatings as substrates for biosensors.
