SPECIALIŲJŲ UGDYMO(SI) POREIKIŲ TENKINIMAS PROFESINĖJE MOKYKLOJE /

The ways of satisfying special educational needs of students at vocational education school are analyzed in the final bachelor’s work. 90 pedagogues as well as 70 students of special educational needs have participated in the research; also, one of the heads of the department was interviewed. Analysis of the documents present at vocational education school has been conducted. The following methods have been employed in the research: analysis of pedagogical, psychological and other scientific literature, survey questionnaire, interview, analysis of the documents of vocational education school, data systemizing and grouping. In the empirical part of the work difficulties experienced by the pedagogues when working with special students are examined, efficiency of special pedagogical aid at vocational education school is analyzed. The process of information on the basis of profession at school and opportunities for the students upon completion of school are discussed. The research has suggested that satisfaction of special educational needs at vocational education school as well as in the majority of other Lithuanian schools is improper. The main problems are emphasized: a rather big number of special students at a class, moderate aid from specialists as well as inconsiderable experience of pedagogues when working with special students. It has been determined that the students have restricted opportunities for choice of a profession and employment upon completion of school.
