In the master thesis the domestic debt of Lithuania in the period of the year 2008-2014 is examined. In the conceptual part of the thesis the conception and classification of the domestic debt are analyzed, the pros and cons of borrowing in the domestic market are distinguished, as well as the systematized results of the research, made by Lithuanian and foreign authors, of the economical impact of borrowing in the domestic market are presented. In the second part of the final paper, while evaluating the tendency of the borrowing in the domestic market of Lithuania, the analysis of dynamics and structure of domestic debt in the period of the year 2008-2014 is carried out. Basing on the evaluation indicators of acceptability of the domestic debt, that are distinguished in the conceptual part of the master thesis, the evaluation of acceptability of the domestic debt in Lithuania is made. After ascertaining of macroeconomic indicators, that condition the amount of the domestic debt, using the method of multiple regression analysis, the predictive model of the amount of domestic debt is created. In the third part of the thesis, the modeling of the domestic debt amount, in case of the changes of macroeconomic situation, is presented.
