Abstract
dc:description.abstract
This capstone project is an exhibition proposal conceived to help facilitate a dialogue on the issue of modes of display, representation and interpretation in the context of hegemonic imperialism, where the primary framework obscures as much, if not more, as it reveals about non-Western cultures. It is an exercise in social justice, that condemns the museum's function as a microcosm of Empire and advocates for the right to self determination on national, community and personal levels.
