Propuesta de mejora para aumentar la eficiencia en el proceso de producción usando las herramientas de Lean Manufacturing en una Pyme de sector plástico en Lima

El presente trabajo, consiste en aumentar la eficiencia en el proceso de producción de envases plástico. El objetivo es ver la eficiencia, en este caso analizar la calidad, disponibilidad y rendimiento de producción utilizando la filosofía de lean manufacturing, y lograr disminuir tiempos inoperativos y mejorar la organización de la empresa. La investigación está enfocada en implementar un modelo de gestión para hacer efectiva la disminución del índice de OEE de producción de plásticos de la ciudad de Lima disminuyendo las paradas de máquina utilizando las herramientas TPM y SMED. El estudio empezó con un diagnóstico actual e identificando el problema principal de la baja eficiencia en la producción, esto se da en el área de soplado. Luego se procede con el modelo que se propuso como solución respecto a Lean Manufacturing y sus herramientas, son con el objetivo de poder implementar y así mejorar las causas que se analizó del problema. Se espera que la eficiencia actual que presenta la empresa se incremente y así poder tener óptimos resultados. Este trabajo consta de tres capítulos. El primero, presentará antecedentes, marco teórico, donde se mencionan conceptos básicos y herramientas que se utilizaran en el proyecto, asimismo, es una recopilación de antecedentes previos que sustenta el proyecto de investigación. El segundo, menciona la gestión de inventario en la empresa, los costos que estos generan y las causas que causan estos problemas. El tercero, se mostrará el grafico del modelo y la propuesta, el procedimiento que se ejecutará en realizar las herramientas, indicadores para la evaluación y consideración para la implementación.This research project consists of increasing the efficiency in the production process of plastic containers. The objective of this study is to address the gap created between quality, availability and production performance using lean manufacturing philosophy, in order to reduce downtime and improve the organization of the company. The research is focused on implementing a management model to effectively decrease the OEE index of a plastic container production company in the city of Lima, reducing machine stops using TPM and SMED tools and improving operator efficiency. The study began with a current diagnosis and identifying the main problem of low production efficiency, this occurs in the blowing area. Then we proceed with the design of the solution proposal with the investigations regarding Lean Manufacturing, with the objective of implementing them and thus improving the causes of the problem. Subsequently, it is expected that the current efficiency presented by the company will increase and thus be able to have optimal results. This work consists of three chapters. The first will present background information, a theoretical framework, where basic concepts and tools that will be used in the project are mentioned, and is also a compilation of previous background information that supports the research project. The second mentions inventory management in the company, the costs they generate and the causes that cause these problems. The third will show the graph of the model and the proposal, the procedure that will be executed to create the tools, indicators for evaluation and consideration for implementation.
