Regulatory Mechanisms Controlling Expression of the Toll-Like Receptor 2 Subfamily
Abstract
dc:descriptionTherefore, this thesis describes three novel mechanisms controlling expression of TLR2 subfamily members---one acting at the level of transcriptional activation, another at the post-transcriptional level, and finally one that regulates the post-translational localization of the receptor. In chapter five, I will summarize these findings and discuss the potential implications.
