A Qualitative Study of Body Image in Lesbian Women

This research has added to the understanding of body image-related issues for lesbian women. It assists in understanding health issues for lesbian women, and adds to our understanding of why different people are more or less susceptible to negative body image. This study also provides a theoretical basis for planning interventions to improve body image.
