Abstract
dc:descriptionFinally, we examine the effect on radial deformation of carbon nanotubes due to adhesion. The van der Waals interactions between two adjacent aligned carbon nanotubes can deform them substantially, destroying the assumed cylindrical symmetry for nanotubes.
