dc:descriptionThis dissertation applies Reader-Oriented Criticism to the works of two contemporary Mexican authors: Jose Emilio Pacheco and Salvador Elizondo. Both writers belong to the literary movement known as 'La escritura', which can best be described as a reaction to traditional modes of writing and reading in Spanish-American Literature.
