The Development of a Computer Simulation for Consulting Teachers (Mildly Handicapped, Teacher Training, Resource Teachers)
Abstract
dc:descriptionSpecial educators are now often asked to serve as consultants to regular educators, even though they may have had no training in this unique skill. To give special educators practice in the necessary problem solving skills, a computer simulation was developed to expose special educators to some of the problems they may encounter in working with regular educators, to allow them to explore various strategies in solving these problems, and to give them feedback on the likely consequences of each strategy.
