Building an arsenal: The evolution of middle power force structures
Abstract
dc:descriptionThis dissertation seeks to develop a model which explains how the force structures of middle powers develop. It uses the lessons learned from applying this model to discuss the possible role the middle powers of the South can play in the emerging international system. Finally, it discusses the implications of this process for U.S. national security policy.
