A unified mode of representation of laryngeal features

This study attempts to provide the phonological and phonetic representations of laryngeal features in a unified mode. That is, the same format of a categorical representation is given for both representations. Two tasks are performed in this study: an investigation of three major laryngeal phenomena, aspiration, voicing, and glottalization, in various languages, an evaluation of the framework of the aperture positional theory, which makes reference to internal structure of a segment.
