Domestic Resource Mobilization as a Pathway to Decolonization of HIV prevention research in Kenya

<p dir="ltr">At least 68% of Kenya’s HIV response budget comes from Western donors. As external donors’ priorities shift, HIV prevention research funding is declining, making domestic resource mobilization (DRM) critical. DRM refers to the process by which a country generates and allocates its resources to fund its priorities. This study examined valueholder perspectives on DRM implementation in Kenya as a possible pathway to decolonization of HIV prevention research.</p>
