The Tensor Analyzing Power in Deuteron-Proton Reaction With the Weakly Bound Projectile Model.
Abstract
dc:description.abstractThe computer program developed previously for calculating the predictions of the Weakly Bound Projectile model for (d,p) and (d,n) reactions on spin-zero target nuclei, has been modified to calculate the angular distributions for tensor analyzing components T20 and T22. Comparison has been made with the measured values for the reactions 52Cr(d,p)53cr (ground state, Jn = 3/2, π=-1, Q = 5.719 MeV) and 52Cr(d,p)53cr (first excited state, Jn = 1/2, π = -1, Q = 5.149 MeV) to study the Jn dependence of the calculated analyzing power, to test the n model, and to determine the dependence of the calculations on the parameters which specify the nucleon-nucleus optical model potentials.
