Abstract
dc:description.abstractTouch, in general, can range from a light and barely perceptible sensation to one which is heavy, deep and painful. The sensation of deep touch pressure exists between these two extremes. Deep touch pressure is defined as the mechanical deformation of the skin, coupled with the stimulation of the underlying fascia and periosteum.
