Abstract
dc:description.abstractContained within this thesis are the solutions for the stress distribution in a disc of uniform thickness when evenly spaced, radially directed loads, uniformly distributed over the thickness of the disc, are applied; and the stress distribution in the disc when evenly spaced in-plane moments are applied to the disc.
