The Effect of Psychological Stress on Complex Task Performance.
Abstract
dc:description.abstractMany individuals are required, intentionally or inadvertently, to engage in complex behaviors under various degrees of psychological stress. Performance efficiency may vary depending on the individual's level of arousal, and high levels of psychological stress might adversely affect task performance. The pervasiveness and importance of the effects of psychological stress on performance have encouraged investigators to explore the relationship between levels of stress and degree of performance impairment.
