Abstract
dc:description.abstract<p>The goal of this study was to identify the effect of perceived voluntary decision to enter a supervised-living apartment complex on the overall quality of life for an elderly individual. The research questions were as follows:<br> 1. What relationships exist between perceived voluntary decision to enter a supervised-living apartment dwelling, selected demographic variables and the frequency of uplifts experienced by the elderly person?<br> 2. What relationships exist between perceived voluntary decision to enter a supervised-living apartment dwelling, selected demographic variables and the frequency of hassles experienced by the elderly person?<br> 3. What relationships exist between perceived voluntary decision to enter a supervised-living apartment dwelling, selected demographic variables and the degree of self-efficacy experienced by the elderly person?<br> The above questions reflect the order in which analysis of the research data will occur.</p>
