The Evolution of Cooking Apparatus With Some Tests With the Aladdin Oven
Abstract
dc:description.abstractInventions are but brought forth spontaneously; they are a growth. We cannot conceive of a mind which is capable, without the aid and thoughts of other minds of investing anyone of the many machines and apparatus which so far assist in lightening and perfecting man’s work. The most of our inventions are new combinations of other inventions made to serve men purposes. It will be the endeavor of this paper to show this growth as it is manifested in cooking apparatus, by showing its evolution from the very crudest forms up to the present degree of perfection.
