Equipping the Saints at First Baptist Church of Tallahassee in Basic Baptist Doctrine
Abstract
dc:description.abstractThis project sought to equip the members at First Baptist Church of Tallahassee in basic Baptist doctrine. Chapter 1 provided the context and background of First Baptist Church as well as the rationale, purpose, goals, and research methodology. Chapter 2 utilized five passages of Scripture (Matt 22:34–40; Deut 8:1–10; 1 Cor 15:1–8; 1 Pet 3:8–9; 2 Tim 2:14–19) to reveal the need for Christians to have the right understanding of doctrine. Chapter 3 focused on the theoretical, historical, and practical issues of basic Baptist doctrine. Chapter 4 gave the details and account of the project implementation. Chapter 5 provided an evaluation of the project based on its goals. This projected desired that all members of First Baptist Church be equipped in basic Baptist doctrine so that they be confident in what it is they believe.
