La producción dramática de Manuel Fernández y González (1840-1850): estudio y edición
Abstract
[EN]Despite the interest that Romanticism as a movement has aroused in recent years in its many artistic manifestos, the very concept of "romance" as acknowledged Flitter: "remains for literary scholars not only a fertile source of ideas but what is more disconcerting, a confusing tangle of contradictory statements "(1995: 1). Y is that since Johann Nikolaus von Faber Bölh unleashing the box of thunder late eighteenth century with a first exhibition in Spain of ideas Romantic and post defense, no less furious by Jose Joaquin Mora, many critics and scholars have been those who, over time, have tried to approach the movement seeking their marking, ie give somewhat academic significance. Behind this attempt frustrated by systematization is easy to find in both groups a desire to establish a literary canon somehow collect a certain national spirit because, as Duran himself would acknowledge later, all great literature is born largely conditioned by the national character of the people who occurs.
