Resumen de tesis. Función del factor transcripcional de tipo MADS-box, AGAMOUS-LIKE 67 (AGL67), en la señalización hormonal durante la germinación de semillas de Arabidopsis thaliana

Abstract

[EN] The results obtained herein and the data in the literature, allow us to propose the following model of action to explain the role of AGL67 as a negative regulator of seed germination in Arabidopsis ( Bassel et al. , 2011). According to this model , the induction of AGL67 through DELLA protein activity ( Cao et al. , 2006 ) AGL67 levels increase and BME3 repress gene expression . In this repressor complex , AGL67 be able to recruit transcriptional cofactors and chromatin remodeling factors that could influence the binding specificity BME3 ( Smaczniak et al. , 2012). BME3 suppressing BME3 reduced levels , lead to a decrease in the biosynthesis of active GAs ( Liu et al. , 2005 ) and thus an increase in the levels of DELLA proteins. In this way a self-regulating circuit for controlling positive activity AGL67 germination repressor would close.
