Abstract
dc:description.abstractA convenient and accurate method to measure the diffusion coefficient in a liquid is provided by nuclear magnetic resonance. It is called the "Spin-echo" method. Experimental apparatus has been built to observe spin-echos in samples of water. The results of these experiments agree with the theory of the method. An extended discussion of experimental details is given in this thesis.
