Abstract
dc:description.abstractThe aim of this thesis is to investigate the effects of moderate-intensity exercise on established and novel risk factors for cardiovascular disease (CVD) and fitness. It contains the findings of two studies that examine the effects of unsupervised home-based programmes of brisk walking.
