Ceramics: The Elemental Art. Born of Earth and Water, Tempered by Air, Matured by Fire.

This thesis follows the artistic and intellectual development of Karl Knudson through his study of ceramic art at the University of Oregon. It consists of a brief discussion of his artistic origins and development, his intellectual and aesthetic development regarding art, and cumulates with a critical discussion of his work from his Bachelor of Fine Arts Terminal Project Exhibition.
